We were all MADD

While it's been 5 years since the crash that killed my brother and niece, I'm still passionately involved with Mother's Against Drunk Driving. Every year, I help organize the Memorial Day Event and Fundraiser. We always have this dunk tank, and I've always gotten other girls to be on it. This year, I thought I'd better take my own turn. So, us beauty queens did it - Mrs. Boise, Miss Boise, Mrs. Treasure Valley, and Miss Idaho all took turns.

It was very cold water. And it was kindof mucky and dark water - EW!

This man paid so much money to keep throwing the ball, but never got me dunked.

Guess who finally dunked me? My good buddy Mason who is only 8 years old! Do you see how thrilled Jeff is in the picture?

Mason's younger brother Corbin also tried, but didn't dunk anyone. He just wanted his picture taken with this cool ribbon.

I ended up being dunked 5 times in 45 minutes. We made twice as much money on the dunk tank this year than any other year we have done this! So it was all worth it! Yeah!

Hey Mr. Big Stuff!

During the middle of May, when we finally had some good weather, Parker got his turn in the spotlight of Aunt Melissa's camera.
I found this old junk yard of Datsun cars next to this even older barn. The owner was more than willing to let us come and take some pictures. Parker had so much fun - even if the inside of the barn was a little creepy.

He even let his funny side come out a little - I think it was only because mom wasn't there.

It's a good thing I had asked the owner of the property for permission - these dogs were watching every move that Melissa and Parker made. I think they knew what the sign said.
